Higher Education Scholarship (India)
  • Criteria for selection: Academic merit, financial need, commitment to community service program
  • Documents required for application: School grades, financial statements of mother and father, personal identification, proof of admission and financial requirements for university study
  • Application and Acceptance Process: 1) Submit online form; 2) Email documents required; 3) Phone follow up with QJSP Committee Member; 4) Video Interview with QJSP Committee; 5) If committee feels criteria for selection is fulfilled, the student is informed of acceptance (conditions of grant and interest free loan also entailed in email); 5) Student consults with QJSP Community Service Coordinator to finalize plan; 6) Student is networked with mentors and career professionals
Overseas Higher Education Scholarship (Outside of India)
  • Criteria for selection: Academic merit, financial need, commitment to community service program
  • Documents required for application: Outstanding academic record for the past 2-3 years;  good GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS score; admission to a Prestigious Institution; financial statements of mother and father, personal identification, 2 Letters of Recommendation – one from respected community member, one from mentor, teacher, principal or advisor.
  • Application and Acceptance Process: 1) Submit online form; 2) Email documents required; 3) Phone follow up with QJSP Committee Member; 4) Video Interview with QJSP Committee; 5) If committee feels criteria for selection is fulfilled, the student is informed of acceptance (conditions of grant and interest free loan also entailed in email); 5) Student consults with QJSP Community Service Coordinator to finalize plan; 6) Student is networked with mentors and career professionals
School children scholarships
  • Criteria for selection: Financial need and commitment to community service program
  • Documents required for application: School grades, financial statements of mother and father, personal identification, proof of admission and billing of school (i.e. past receipts to show fee requirements)
  • Application and Acceptance Process: 1) Submit online form and documents 2) Parents phone follow up with QJSP Committee Member 3) Parents and child video interview with QJSP Committee 4) If committee feels criteria for selection is fulfilled, the student is informed of acceptance 5) Student is introduced to mentor
